Over 30 years, Ken McLeod has worked as a top-level management consultant in North America, Asia and Europe, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.

Since 1997, Ken McLeod has been Managing Director of Ken McLeod & Company. Before this, Ken was a partner of McKinsey & Company, based in Melbourne. He led that office and co-led McKinsey & Company’s Financial Services Practice.

Ken has written many papers and been a speaker at many functions. While at McKinsey, for example, he co-authored a paper, "MACS: The Market Activated Corporate Strategy", that has become a classic reference internationally in the field of corporate strategy.

In addition to his client work, Ken has lectured in strategic management, helped in voluntary roles with the Institute of Actuaries and undertaken pro bono work for charity.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Ken McLeod worked in the life insurance industry as an actuary. As an actuary, he has also worked with the British Government in London and with an employee-benefits consulting firm in Chicago.

Ken McLeod is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He has a BA and an MBA, both from Macquarie University in Sydney.
